THE 5 PILLARS OF WELLNESS

We spent years creating the 5 Pillars of Wellness when we launched our company. We based many ideas on the book Blue Ocean Strategy in 2007. These pillars still hold true to this day and represent our belief and commitment to all aspects of wellness.

Wellness isn’t just health, or fitness, or mental wellbeing. It’s a combination of all three, plus nutrition and lifestyle. We believe the well-rounded, holistic approach to wellness includes our five brand pillars:

HEALTH

Knowing the basics of how the body operates, following the latest research that is available to the intelligent layperson and living your life accordingly.

FITNESS

Finding a fitness regime that is right for your age, body type, and health profile – and having the discipline to stick with it.

NUTRITION

The latest research shows that a plant-based diet offers many benefits for many, including improved overall health and prospects for a long and active life. Simply adding more plant-based foods is a strong step in the right direction.

MIND/MENTAL WELLBEING

The brain is the master organ that runs the body. The right lifestyle and nutrition help sustain brain health. In turn, a resilient mental outlook helps the body stay healthy and improves decision–making, social interaction, and overall quality of life.

LIFESTYLE

This encompasses the essence of our lifestyle: finding pleasure in the present while preparing for the future. It encompasses various aspects such as our home life, career, leisure activities, relationships with family and friends, and exciting journeys like wellness travel. It comprises a compilation of our routines, individual inclinations, and the fresh habits we intentionally embrace as we evolve. As the age-old adage suggests, living a fulfilling life is the most potent response to adversity.
